[LFG][D&D 5th Edition] Looking for a long term campaign [Saturday 8:00 PM GMT]

Good evening to all, I am nate, a 20 years old swiss guy who as nearly 2 years of experience with Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition . Recently, with the end of my 1 and a half year campaign coming to an end I start to look for a new long term one. I really want to experience something on the long run with motivated and experienced person so there we are on Roll20 forum. I look forward to found a group of person (ideally 3 other players and one Master) to share a long term campaign and live fun but memorable sessions full of epicness and deep story. Maybe some of you that are reading this post might say that there are plenty of campaign on the LFG  page but I didn't find a fitting game on the time I'm looking for and so I came on the forum. And yes it might take a certain time to find one long term campaign but I am willing to wait. So no, I won't pay  someone to master this game, firstly because I can't and secondly because I don't want to. I have almost but no expectation on what the DM could write as a story as long as it's well done and that he as experience with D&D 5E . For the character part of this all thing, I had plenty of ideas of what I would have wanted to play and why, and I finally ended my choice on a Hill Dwarf Paladin.  Statistically I have nothing done and I will build it only when we are ready to launch, the only thing I will stick to is the rolled ability . I don't wanna use buy points or pre-rolled stats. So if you are a player interested by the idea though we know little but nothing about the story-line, just reply at this post by telling us: - your alias - your age - your experience with D&D 5E - what do you want to play as a character - and why should we pick you ! Hi Nate, I am definitely interested. I'm based in the UK and a beginner to D&D but would love to join a campaign. Suitable times would be weekday evenings or can be more flexible at the weekends and do most times. - your age - 34 - your experience with D&D 5E - Critical Role and reading through the various handbooks. I have previous D&D experience from the computer games such as Baldurs Gate 2, Icewind Dale, Neverwinter Nights, etc. - what do you want to play as a character - I have a few ideas on classes, but I have never played before. I don't lean towards evil characters, so some kind of good/neutral alignment. But I am thinking either Monk, Paladin, Bard or Cleric. Something that can believes in the greater good, has a little flexibility, as well as not being too complicated. If I had to pick one right now, I'd go for Monk, either way of the open hand or sun soul. I don't have a whole history/bio fleshed out, but have some ideas for hooks that come up during the story if appropriate. - and why should we pick you ! - Because what could be more fun than introducing someone new to D&D? I can't promise to be the best roleplayer there ever was but I can commit to showing up every week and having a good time, and isn't that why we all play? Can't wait to create our own story with our characters in whatever world we end up in. Thanks! Matt
