Help with macros

I'm trying to learn how to use macros, right now I'm trying to make my attributes show with names inside a box instead of just appearing like random numbers. So far I got this: @{Leef Xirs|Strength|} @{Leef Xirs|Dexterity|} @{Leef Xirs|Constitution|} @{Leef Xirs|Intelligence|} @{Leef Xirs|Wisdom|} @{Leef Xirs|Charisma|} And it appears like this: 10 16 16 14 12 17 I know this is (probably) basic stuff, but I don't even know basics.

If you want the names to appera, you can just type them. For instance: Strength: @{Leef Xirs|Strength} Dexterity: @{Leef Xirs|Dexterity} Constitution: @{Leef Xirs|Constitution} Intelligence: @{Leef Xirs|Intelligence} Wisdom: @{Leef Xirs|Wisdom} Charisma: @{Leef Xirs|Charisma} You don't need that pipe (|) at the end so I removed it. Also, if you create this macro as an Ability (on the Attributes & Abilities tab of your character's Journal), you can omit the character name: Strength: @{Strength} Dexterity: @{Dexterity} Constitution: @{Constitution} Intelligence: @{Intelligence} Wisdom: @{Wisdom} Charisma: @{Charisma} A better way to present them is to use the default roll template. This will make a nicely formatted box with the stats on rows: &{template:default} {{name=My Attributes}} {{Strength=@{Strength} }} {{Dexterity= @{Dexterity} }} (and so on)
oh okay, I think i'm getting it. Thanks!
