Roll20 on The Go

Hi, recently I got back into DMing games but I also started a new job where I'm moving around a lot and don't have as much time to sit down and prepare my games like I use to so I tried out Roll20 really liked it and since it said I would need to upgrade from a free account I decided to go Pro and try working on my games during my free time. I have since run into a problem, when using Roll20 on my phone it is quite unwieldy, I assumed this was just my device so I swapped out to my Tablet its pretty big but I still got the same problems. I then attempted this on all of my Tech and asked my friends who use Roll20 if its just me. They confirm that the mobile site has less then desirable performances Half the screen is taken up by the chat box section and trying to drag/edit tokens or maps has been impossible I have tried for the last 6 hours before posting it as a topic. What would you suggest Picking up a laptop so I can work on it? Is a fix in the works or has it been ignored?
A laptop or a keyboard and mouse for your tablet. There is no 'fix' in the works that I am aware of. There is nothing wrong since they did not design it to be run on tablets. The tablet app isn't even a full Roll20 interface. It is designed as a document viewer, chat viewer and dice roller. A companion to the website.

Hi Sgt. Payne. You have 2 different ways to access Roll20 on tablet. (Phone is not officially supported). Were you trying the app, or the website "table on tablet"? 1. The app is focused on the Chat Room / dice roller, and displaying character sheets. It can be really useful for playing in-person games when everyone has a tablet. 2. Roll20 VTT on Tablet, for Plus & Pro subscriber GM's, is like running the full Roll20 computer/browser version, on your tablet device. For this one, don't load the app, but instead just load your browser app (like Chrome on tablet) and surf to roll20.net. See this wiki intro page, https://wiki.roll20.net/Mobile_Tablet_Support In the Table On Tablet in your browser, the chat sidebar can be closed or minimized. There is a little 3-bar button near the top left side of the chat to hide the chat and see more map real-estate. Since this thread is asking about Technical Issues, and is not a Suggestion for the website development, and since we may need to continue dialog to troubleshoot the graphic-control on touchscreen capability, I will move this thread to Bugs & Technical Issues forum for now, ok?
I have many of the same problems. Scrolling the docbar opens half the docs before scrolling to stops working. Also clicking the x to close a doc reopens it. Also you can't scroll the map at all or move anything. Paid for pro so i could view thesite on my phone but no can do
