I'm new save me ples.

Hi there, I'm G. I haven't played since I was 13 (I'm 22 now) and I really wanna get back into D&D. my friends all suck and I live in the middle of nowhere so a game at the pub is out of the question. I just want a campaign that's fun with fun people and hopefully a long term group. I'm available the majority of time because I'm lame and have no life. I a quick learner but id rather not play with a group who will get frustrated with me for not being fab yet... I say yet bevause I have 0 doubt I one day wil be. if anyone can help then hit me up.  hope to be playing soon thanks G :)

Hey there G.  Although you might have quite a bit of free time, knowing your time zone and availability does help quite a bit.  Also, what kind of games are you looking for?  Do you know what edition you would want to try out?  If not, do you know what style or setting you want to play in?  Examples include things like "low magic, heroic fantasy" or "1920s London, Lovecraftian Horror".  You can also say what sort of roleplaying worlds, books or movies have the feel you are going for.  It can also help if you explain what sort of style you think you will enjoy.  Do you want a game where there is constant high-stakes combat, a game of political intrigue where someone can be dishonored into commiting suicide but actual combat is extremely rare or do you want a game that has an even mix of roleplay and combat?

I’m in uk times zone but I have insomnia so I’m pretty flexible with what times I c am do. I think I wanna play 5e but as I said I haven’t played for a long time so I’d be happy to try others. As far as that, I think for now until I’ve played for a while I’d want to play an even mix of &nbsp;role play and combat. I’m gonna day heroic fantasy but honestythats a shot in the dark.
