Edited 1518024139
Lost Mine of Phandelver Over five hundred years ago, a pact was made between a clan of gnomes and dwarves which became known as the Phandelver Pact. Together they mined the magically rich ores within Wave Echo Cave. Human spellcasters from nearby Phandalin joined forces with them and together they combined their collective skills to create a forge to craft magical items dubbed the Forge of Spells. Everything came to an abrupt end when orcs, craving magical treasures, sieged Phandalin and the Wave Echo Cave mine. The battle destroyed Phandalin and much of the mine as well, causing various cave-ins throughout. Very few survived the conflict to relate the tale. The Forge of Spells become legend and the entrance to Wave Echo Cave was lost. Flash-forward to present day, the Rockseeker brothers, intent in finding and reopening this now-fabled mine, manage to locate the cave. Their activity was never a secret. A nefarious villain known as Nezznar the Black Spider, a drow wizard, has been watching and waiting for the dwarves to uncover this location. The drow desires to harness the Forge of Spells for his own purposes and has rallied bandit gangs and goblin tribes from within the region to aid him in this mission. The party's questing within the Sword Coast region will have them square off with various underlings of Nezznar's and eventually the drow himself if they choose to pursue him straight into the Wave Echo Cave. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements. Why Pay to Play? Paying to play ensures that your GM is well prepared and has all of the materials they need. Additionally, people that pay to play seem to enjoy the game more and prove to be more reliable players, ensuring that everyone has a good time. New and experienced players alike find that it is worth it to hire a GM; newer players find themselves learning the game more quickly with a little extra guidance and more experienced players tend to like having a GM who is quick on their feet, creative, and is confident and knowledgeable. Finally, the first session will be free, so there is no risk to you; you can take the time to decide if you like the GM, the players, and the campaign. Professional GM Bio Tasha has been playing Table-top RPGs since she was seven-years-old. She cut her teeth on Traveller and Dungeons & Dragons before moving on to other rules systems like Pathfinder and Mutants & Masterminds. Table-top gaming and a voracious love of stories lead her to study literature, teaching, and creative writing at university; this gave her an even better foundation to be the stellar GM she is today. When not writing or gaming, Tasha can be found in the kitchen whipping up one of her favorite dishes or in the yard training and playing with her pupper, Captain. As a GM, Natasha provides vivid settings and engaging NPCs by focusing in on small details that makes the game world come to life. In general, she prefers to run sandbox campaigns, choosing to provide players with plot hooks and allowing them to determine which ones they latch on to rather than railroading them in a particular direction. She lets characters drive the story, but is not afraid to offer a guiding nudge if there is a lull; this strikes the perfect balance between creativity, cooperation, and control, giving the players the important ability to become part of the world but not to fall into unorganized anarchy. Every decision the characters make influences the story in impactful ways. Additionally, Natasha is incredibly patient with new players and is willing to teach and aid them when necessary to ensure that they enjoy their character and story. All in all, she wants to make certain that the players are having a great time and that they are achieving their character goals in an immersive adventure.

Hello, My name is Bradlee. I am very interested in this campaign. I currently live in San Antonio, TX as an Airman for the United States Air Force. I am a new player and have been wanting to play for a long time, but never got the chance to and no one, to my knowledge, here on base is interested in playing. I am free Tuesday and Thursday nights. I hope me not being an experienced player doesn't deter your decision for me playing in a group. I do on my spare time create characters but never get the chance to play them. Just let me know what the starting level is going to be, the point system, and what classes. I can whip one up in a jiffy.&nbsp; Thank you for listening and posting your services.
Hi Bradlee, I would love to have you in one of my games!&nbsp; You seem like such a pleasant person.&nbsp; I love new players, and it doesn't deter me at all, so please don't feel out of place.&nbsp; Here is the link to the Tuesday night game (&nbsp; <a href="https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/103202/lost-min" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/103202/lost-min</a>... ).&nbsp; It still has one open slot!&nbsp; We will be starting at 1st level and playing 5e.&nbsp; Just fill out an application in the next little while, and if everything checks out I will make sure you get it. -Natasha
Thank you, I just posted my application for Tuesday. Hopefully it all checks out.
Awesome!&nbsp; I accepted you in! Everyone else out there, that means we only have two slots left on Wednesday left to fill!
Only one more slot on Wednesday!&nbsp; If you are interested in playing, make sure you put your application in quick!
We just lost one member in the Tuesday group, so we have two spots — one on Tuesday and one on Wednesday.
Our Wednesday night group is full now! Only one spot left for this upcoming Tuesday!
I am now creating a wait list if anyone is interested but did not get their applications in on time.&nbsp; The demand was higher than expected!&nbsp; We have a wonderful community!
