Large Maps Causing Crashes and then Subsequent Unavailability of Client

So as the title says, upon bringing my players to a map I had made a few weeks ago and some interaction with the map, I the GM and two other players had our browsers crash (One had their computer crash) and then were denied access back into the session. As you can probably tell, I was rather peeved that right as the climactic battle over the city was about to take place, I was suddenly cut out of my campaign. The map was 300x300, default DnD square tiles, without many tokens (I mostly draw on the map with the shape tool) or any sort of graphics on it. When we attempted to rejoin, the loading screen would appear, but not fully load; the only thing it would show other than the Roll20 logo was the toolbar in the top left. Does this happen often? Or was this an uncommon occurrence? Thank you for your time.

Does the 5mb limit count towards page size and shape tool usage? When I access the battle map without others on my client, everything works fine, so I assume it's a connection problem, of some sort.
If you don't get a response in a while, either bump the post, (this will do that) and/or repost in 'help'. I'm just a dude, and a techno-twit at that. sry. I believe that 5M is the file size cap. Might have something to do with that. http://app.roll20.net/forum/post/60997/map-size-and-lag#post-61042 Add: You could also directly contact relevant dev teamers. I'm sorry that your game exploded, Kav. To start things off, were you running your game directly from our site, or was it through Google Hangouts? Are you still locked out of your campaign?
I'm not locked out of the campaign anymore, I was able to get back on after about an hour or so, and it was through the website.

LOL I just realized T M. called me a Dev. I am NOT a Developer. I am a Moderator. One of the jobs of the Mods is to help people with bugs and then if we are unable to resolve it on our own to take a bug report and bump it to the Devs (such as Riley). - Gauss
