Player Directory Malfunctioning: 1 month and counting.

Unfortunately this has not been resolved in over a month; and continues to this day. No one has responded as to a timeline when and if it will be resolved. This has been reported on this forum at least twice in the past month. 4 days ago: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/6082712/player-d... Hi, Erich S. Thank you for your report. These reports were brought to the Dev Team's attention earlier this month, and they will certainly investigate them when possible.
Hi Erich, Our apologies for the radio silence on this issue! This is definitely something we are investigating, however it has shown to be an intermitent issue which makes it more difficult to nail down a solution.
Thanks, appreciate the response. I can say that I normally search for D&D 3.5, Stars Without Numbers, Other Games, and Pathfinder. For the past several months they have been hit or miss while in the last five weeks it has been a complete failure. Tried a few other searches just to see if it appeared to be a global problem. One night I attempted to display the player directory for every category listed with no success. The first time I noticed a consistent failure was November 19th; but I was on the road and felt maybe the vpn or something was blocking it. Returned home and it worked, hit or miss, again. Hope this background information is of assistance.
just a suggestion, but, maybe try expanding the Timeout Window to compensate for the volume involved in the search through the directory.
I have used it in the past, but recently last month or so I have been successful 0 times in getting a response to ANY query from the player directory. It is down completely for me.
Today, one day after the big shutdown, the Player Directory did function for every query I threw at it.
