New GM Needing Help With Hexographer Maps

Hi, i'm new to setting up and working on maps on hear. Currently I'm trying to make a Regional map using Hexographer and i am trying to import a .PNG file of the map but for some reason it seems unable to load in the map. I've tried other ones but they seem to work just fine. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong, though the regional map is larger than the base map size hexographer gives. hopefully someone can help clear this up for me
What size is the .png file?
9,122 KB it would seem
Small enough. Does it need to be in .png format? Can you open it in a paint program and resave it as a .jpg? Maybe its some odd form of .png
I'll try seeing if i can change it to a .jpg
Ah thank you, that ended up working. Not sure why the .png didn't do the job but a .jpg did

Are you trying to load a template into Hexographer, or load an exported Hexographer map into Roll20?
