Dynamic Lighting and Player Subscription Question

One of my players has purchased a subscription on roll20, specifically for the Dynamic Lighting. However, I as the DM don't know if I'll be able to use this feature since it's their subscription. Can I, or does roll20 force the DM to be the one with subscription for those benefits?

Nothing stops the player from creating the game and giving you  co-DM privileges in it however. Some things will be restricted but you'll be able to do all the things a DM really needs to do :)
