Starting new 5E game

Hi folks, I'm looking to launch a new 5e game that will be played weekly.  Likely on weeknights, 8pm Eastern and onward (time is flexible somewhat as is the weeknight).  My DM style is highlighted by the following: - Story-driven. It's not sandbox (takes too long), but has compelling plot hooks to get players into an overarching story campaign. - Memorable NPC's, and NPC villains. - Fast paced gaming.  This is huge if you're sick and tired of listening to hardcore RP'ers blow your entire game session chatting about stupid things in the tavern while you twiddle your thumbs wondering when you actually get to do something.  There is plenty of RP, but, in a way that keeps the flow moving steadily. - Epic combat.  60% game time approx, with graphic combat, on great tactical maps.  Challenging encounters that will make you think carefully and pray the dice roll in your favor. - Old Skool classes and races (most 5E published material allowed, just ask the DM) - The characters will start BARE BONES (with almost nothing), but, loot will scale very well.   - Faster leveling than normal, and we plan to go late-game (up to lv 20). - Beautiful maps (they look decent, not the lazy DM "theater of the mind" way) What I ask of you: - You need to be excited about the above points (it's hit or miss) - Bulletproof reliability.  I don't care if you have a part time job, or are in the military, etc.  If you can't make every session, go away! - Get "into" your character - be excited about who he/she is, and about how the character is advancing both in person and otherwise.   Interested?  PM me or post, we can chat.
*Update*  We will be using Discord.  Headset required but no video.
Which night would you be playing? Sounds like fun!

It's up in the air
How open to new players are you? Like, so-new-they've-never-played-before? Starting with a new story right off the bat would be really fun!
Newbies are fine as long as they have some idea that they really want to play 5E (like youtube videos etc), and as long as at least 2 group members know the ropes.
would love to join if you still have a spot, my discord is themoonlightshadow13#7090
Consider me intrigued. I am looking for a somewhat longer game, and I have had piss poor luck finding that. I'm pretty flexible in what I can play, and tend to get on well with others. Let me know if you still have room.
Sounds interesting.  I'll put mt hat in the ring though I'm GMT. have played a fair bit now. This sounds like the gm from my pathfinder game.
Everyone who is interested please send me a PM.
How long are you planning each session to run? (I have a hard stop at 10PM EDT unfortunetly).
3 hrs avg per session.
