Doyce T. said: Now, Rosa herself might have to fall on a symbolic sword if Rook stock takes a dive, but I'm not even sure there IS Rook stock - is Luthorcorp publicly traded? Doesn't seem especially likely, any more than Quill Industries. Rook might take a dive indirectly, even if Rook Industries is privately held now . And it's certainly possible they are - some very big names , including Samsung and Koch, are privately held. The short version: Organized boycott of Rook Industries products (backed by competitors such as Quill Industries, and made authentic as bloggers like My Little Power Rangers go viral with videos talking about it) Rook's profits fall, too bad they still have outstanding expenses and debts to pay The only way out is to issue stock, kick off an IPO, and try to lure in new investors - and maybe agreeing to do this is part of their PR attempt to look more "open" and "transparent" Rosa has to scramble to liquidate assets, get in serious debt with her private allies, etc. to try and retain majority control over the stock. That gives you pretty much whatever outcome you like: "nothing happens" (Rosa continues to hold 51%), "Rook becomes unstable" (Rosa now owes big debts to criminals, the Russians, whoever), "Rook undergoes big changes" (someone else holds majority control of voting stock, anyone's guess what happens), or "Rook goes down big" (SEC investigation uncovers irregularities that will implicate her regardless of whether AEGIS cops to having Rossum). She might be pressured to step down for the PR benefit, but a panicky IPO can keep her in the game (ours as well as hers) while still making a substantial impact on her power, and optionally bringing in some of these Reformed criminal contacts on Charade's sheet.
