Board Game

Good day.  First of all if this is the wrong forum, my apologies.  I am interested in playing games like Last Night on Earth or Descent.  I think I saw that this was used for this type of gamaing but I don't see any games like that available.  Does anyone do any games like that?  Is this system good for somehting like those games?  Are they available or is it somehting I would need to create?  If I need to create it how does the licening work?

It could be, but it's uncommon. Roll20 is for playing tabletop roleplaying games, and common card games could be played by using  this . The same tool could be used to have custom content on each "card".  Any games with just moving tokens and rolling dice can be easily simulated. Search the forums for board game related threads to get some more insight.  Just a few examples of earlier discussions .
Roll20 was built to be system agnostic and has a lot of basic tools built in like, VTT, dice roller, card deck, etc. It also has the ability for 'programming' extra features to add functionality. It cannot handle deck-building games like Dominion, at least, I haven't figured out how, granted, I have not spent very much time looking into it. The majority of games are RPG. There are some board games like Settlers of Catan, apparently, but these are built privately. You can certainly create your own, using whatever artwork you like, for your own private games. I have made games around Capture the Flag, A Zombie Apocalypse type game, a robot programming arena battle, and a version of Steve Jackson's Ogre using scanned or downloaded artwork, but I'm not publishing the games nor streaming them, or anything like that. It's doable, a lot of work, but doable. It would be awesome if the devs worked out licensing deals with board game publishers and offered board games in the marketplace (and maybe they are working on it but can't say).
