After months of talking about it in our chat group, me and some friends finally jumped into the world of D&D. I was elected DM and took the initiative to get a starter set, and then eventually investing in said starter set on Roll20 and upgrading my membership in an attempt to provide the best experience I could as not only a new DM but also a new player. I watched every video I could find in preparation. Finally the night of our first session came and thankfully it was a big success. We had a blast and immediately planned our next session. Then, life hit. A number of unfortunate events lead to the next sessions being pushed, and then the one that followed as well. Wasn't really anyone's fault, but it reached a point where some friends seem less interested. That's fine, but for those that are still itching to get back to the adventures, including me and another friend, it is a little frustrating. Finally we decided that while the rest of our friends are dealing with their stuff, we would find a group open to new players. We're enthusiastic players who want to be involved and learn more, so anyone looking for new players drop a line. Don't really know what schedules work right now but if it fits then we are ready to get started.
