I'm Mike, 24 and I'm currently looking for D&D5e game open to new players. I've made 5e character using standard array and following the instructions of Mark Hulme's YouTube series and I'm looking forwards to testing the character out. I'm open to other editions though I'd need help with making a new character. I've not played D&D before, my pen and paper games history consists of only playing Shadowrun. I'm GMT but I'm available most days and am okay with staying up rather later to play with those further afield since my health is poor and I don't work. My character: Name: Ragnild Ironhammer Race: Mountain Dwarf Class: Great Weapon Fighter (level 1) Background: Soldier Backstory: A former, stalwart soldier, Ragnild Ironhammer and his unit were ambushed on a routine patrol that took them through old dwarven mining tunnels. After being attacked by unknown assailants in the confined spaces he was left for dead. Using this opportunity he decided a simple soldiers life wasn't worth the risk and he took the opportunity to quietly retire and set out to pursue the life of an adventurer in the hopes of better risk/rewards, though he always kept his squad at the forefront of his mind, often wondering who attacked them and if they'd ever meet again.
