The module I bought (LMoP) has some premade characters, but the sheets are not putting initiative numbers in the counter correctly. How can I fix this?

PROBLEM SOLVED: I figured out the pattern. The sheets are simply assigning initiative to whatever token I have selected at the time. By selecting the tokens one at a time, and clicking the same sheet, initiative is appearing correctly. A bit annoying but at least it can be overcome. Is there a way to eliminate the need to select the specific tokens one at a time or is this just a fact of life? Original question for posterity's sake: There are 5 premade characters, when I roll for initiative on the character sheets (which all have the correct tokens displayed on them) they are not showing up in the counter correctly. More specifically: The first roll always works. If I open a second character sheet and roll initiative, a new spot does not appear on the counter and the first character's initiative is overwritten. One other time, 2 of them were working correctly but the other 3 were overwriting the others or not appearing at all.

Generally, you'd have the players select their token and roll initiative.  But yeah, for it to show up in the turn counter, there needs to a token selected when it's rolled.  You can also roll for tokens that don't have sheets assigned to them by right-clicking it and adding "add turn."  This is also how you can add a character that rolled without their token selected - just "add turn" and then manually enter their initiative roll. If you happen to upgrade to pro in the future, there are API scripts that will roll group initiative for a group of selected tokens.
