The lighting effects which, according to the basic dynamic directions and all forum posts, are supposed to limit light visibility to only certain characters, completely don't work. According to the directions, creating a light source that doesn't have the "All Players See Light" checkbox checked, should only be visible to controlling characters. Doing so on either a character token, or a separate token doesn't have this effect though. Instead all light sources are visible to all players. Here's how the light source is setup on a character token which is controlled by only one player: Here's what that character can see when in an unlit room: Here's what the character next to him can see, who is not controlled by the same player: Clearly, it's not operating correctly since the second character, controlled solely by a different player, shouldn't be able to see the light unless the "All Players See Light" checkbox is checked. Alternatively creating a separate token which doesn't have the "All Players See Light" checkbox checked and is controlled by only one player, should only be visible to that player. I set the token up accordingly: The player who controls the light source can see it, but the player who doesn't control the light source can apparently also see it even though they shouldn't: This makes it impossible to setup the complex lighting schemes to support darkvision, low-light vision, and normal vision. Of course this could also be an effect of the Ctrl+L on a token not working correctly as well. When in GM mode and pressing Ctrl+L on a token controlled only by one player (not the GM), it reveals the macro buttons and setups associated with that character, but generates the screenshots above. I haven't yet confirmed matching views when the actual player logs in rather than simply hitting Ctrl+L as the GM, but either way it's a bug according to all documented functionality.
