Interest check for new players 5e

Thanks for all the interest I am closing this thread. I can't accomodate all the people that have replied and I apologize about that. I will probably do 2 different games and do 3 hour sessions instead to try and get multiple people in on the games. Thanks for all the interest, those of you that have replied I will try and get back with all of you. But this is not the only place I have posted this.

1. How many players you are. just me and possibly a friend. 2. age: 30 3. interest in D&D. Extreme. The first time i played i was hooked 4. pick 2 classes you would be interested in playing. paladin and cleric 5. WHAT DAY AND TIMES YOU ARE AVAILABLE!!!. (PST) evenings mostly. sundays are up in the air atm. this day im not sure about but i can possibly make them work if this day is better for everyone. But i can do mon, tues and wed. they are open 6. do you have any D&D experience? only one campaign so im still fairly new.

1. How many players you are. Just me; MAYBE my fiancé, but probably just me 2. age: 20 3. interest in D&D. Extremely interested! I have a character and so many dice that I haven't gotten to play with 4. pick 2 classes you would be interested in playing. Ranger or maybe Cleric 5. WHAT DAY AND TIMES YOU ARE AVAILABLE!!!. I might be starting a night job soon, so weekdays before 10:30 PM Central and after 8 AM Central. Saturday's should be open. If I don't get this job, I would like Night time plays until I find a new job and schedule. 6. do you have any D&D experience? I played one ~1 hour game that was meant to be introduction game for newbies. But that was like 6 months ago.

Just depending on the start time, I get home from work at 5 pm Mountain Standard Time, so my ideal time would be 7 pm MST but I would make any day work. Weekends, however, would be whenever they started I would make it. 6. do you have any D&D experience? played a lot of 3.5e got a lot of those books still. but wanting to learn 5e a lot.

1. Just me. 2. 24 3. I am very interesting in playing a game of D&D as where I am living at the moment there isn't much in the way of D&D meetups. 4. I mainly want to play as a Cleric with a focus on healing/support as I have always felt the most comfortable in a healer role, other than that I would have to say the next best thing I would be interested in playing as is a bard. 5. So pretty much Monday, Wednesday and Friday are no goes for me due to work, but every other day is fair game unless I have a family event (I'll happily let you know far in advance if there is one on the horizon), also probably worth noting that I am GMT+10 time zone but am happy to try and be flexible time wise (even if that means staying up a little later than usual). 6. I have GM'd in the past a couple of times with friends though we never completed the campaign due to time constraints, but I have wanted to be a player for a long time now but have never had the chance.

I also have copies of the DMG, PHB, Xanathar's guide, Volo's guide and Mordenkainen's Tome at hand as well as made PDFs (It costs alot to have both a pristine book and PDFs...). More than a little interested nowadays but theres a story to that. 4. Barbarian and Warlock 5. WHAT DAY AND TIMES YOU ARE AVAILABLE!!!. I live in the UK so GMT+1 (Its good ole summer) time zone. I am available Friday, Saturday, and Monday after 7pm my time preferably. 6. Long story cut short: I help a DM with world building and characters and in return have an understanding of the game but no real experience nor know the mechanical depths, in addition to the fact I'm bad at voicing characters. I want to gain experience, Improve as a Player to surpise them. This is the long one... Apologies in advance if you even read it. And also for the mushyness of it. Now you might be wondering why an inexperienced person has all these rulebooks, well... My partner is a pretty avid DM who gathers a bunch of our friends into groups for sessions ever since sometime when 4e was the latest edition. She also buys two of every official book to make a pdf for those who can't afford it so she doesn't have to lend out her books. And yes. Yes it is expensive. She would get me to help coming up with plots or characters, even taught me how to build characters and encounters in/for her settings often enough even as I expressed that I wasn't interested in playing for years. Over time I got more and more involved and when Critical Role was a new thing we sat down to watch it together. Eventually she expressed that she wanted me to be closer to the table and brought me into the fold as a CO-DM for a short campaign. I would build the world and setting for the players, she would voice the characters and decide encounters. It was fun. There has been 2 campaigns since that one and I still help her with it but the next one. I want to be a player. The current campaign she has going on will most likely be finished in 6 months and I plan on getting as much experience as possible whilst its still going on. Even better is that I will be taking my laptop on my trip to wales to see family for 3 weeks so theres even less of a chance for her to find out. If you're wandering how she won't find out in our house. It's simple I have a soundproofed room (Originally to stop neighbours from hearing me complain to me mates about how I died in a good ol' vidya game) that she doesn't have a reason to come in when she's DMing. she DMs on the days I have listed, its almost perfect. Once again sorry if you read all this but I believe it's better to be forward about this.

Watching Critical Role got me back into gaming/GMing local games in the last year and renewed my interest trying to finally find a D&D game to join. 4. pick 2 classes you would be interested in playing. Quite open but I love the idea of a Rogue or ranger.  5. WHAT DAY AND TIMES YOU ARE AVAILABLE: Weekends 8am-1am in China so that would be 12 hour ahead of EST. No D&D experience. I have years of experience in other RPGs, Star Wars D6, Coc, Stargate, AFMBE. I’ve always wanted to try D&D, but most of my group has always been sci-fi oriented.

I have read PHB and have access to some of the rules from XgtE. But like I said, a lot of roleplaying experience, just not much DnD.

People who are not really interested tend to drop from games. and once a game is more than 1/3rd the way through its near impossible to recruit replacements.  I played some D&D about 20 years ago before the group got split up, it was mostly homebrew and modified relaxed rules. I played MTG a bit but mostly PC/console mmos and RPGs. I have also read several forgotten realms novels and always loved the world and stories.  As I age I guess I just want to get back to roots of it all delve into the world with a group of like minded people. 4. pick 2 classes you would be interested in playing. sublasses aren't needed I just need to know palladin, fighter. warlock, ranger. wizard, cleric so on so forth. 1. I have 3 group members that want to play with me. 2. All within our 20s 3. We have been party members for months, and have had other members of our group leave, but we all are still intent on playing . 4. I would play wizard, one of my group members would play sorcerer, and the other maybe a paladin, but this isn't set in stone. 5. We meet every Sunday (holidays optional) around 9pm or 10pm est. 6. We are a mix of beginner and intermediate players. Ok I assume some of you are following this board. NO MORE RESPONDERS PLEASE. Clearly we need more DM's.
