Ideally I'd like to have all the players picked out by next Friday the 15th, which is what I have listed as the "start date" on the lfg listing for the game, but if I need to push it back another week in order to find a group of players who I think will work well together then I have no qualms about doing so. The first session will be more of an in depth session zero. The plan is to do the usual meet and greet, potentially with a little d&d themed team building exercise, though I may nix that if things go smoothly enough, followed by a discussion about our collective expectations and needs as well as boundaries and general conduct policies. (Stuffy sounding, I know, but for the ~15 minutes it takes, it's worth it to avoid issues down the line) After that would be making the Alfiran house that the party belongs to along with character building discussion. Actually building the characters fully (especially mechanics and numbers) will be done outside of the session, though I plan to remain actively available should anyone have questions or just need someone to bounce ideas off of. Hopefully that's not too much of an infodump of things you're not interested in. Do you have any specific questions I could answer? Thanks for the interest by the way!
