[LFP][D&D 5e] DM Looking for 4-6 Players for 5e Campaign, Friday nights CST (Exact start time flexible)

Hey all, I'll be running a game in a homebrew setting with some setting specific rules alterations. All the specifics are laid out here. Cheers and happy gaming!
Hi there, I'd be intereted in more info. When are you hoping to start?
Ideally I'd like to have all the players picked out by next Friday the 15th, which is what I have listed as the "start date" on the lfg listing for the game, but if I need to push it back another week in order to find a group of players who I think will work well together then I have no qualms about doing so. The first session will be more of an in depth session zero. The plan is to do the usual meet and greet, potentially with a little d&d themed team building exercise, though I may nix that if things go smoothly enough, followed by a discussion about our collective expectations and needs as well as boundaries and general conduct policies. (Stuffy sounding, I know, but for the ~15 minutes it takes, it's worth it to avoid issues down the line) After that would be making the Alfiran house that the party belongs to along with character building discussion. Actually building the characters fully (especially mechanics and numbers) will be done outside of the session, though I plan to remain actively available should anyone have questions or just need someone to bounce ideas off of. Hopefully that's not too much of an infodump of things you're not interested in. Do you have any specific questions I could answer? Thanks for the interest by the way!
Hello, when you say you aren't looking for new players do you mean new to 5e or to D&D as a whole?
I don't recall saying anything about new players, actually. Could you tell me where you saw that so I can correct it? As it stands, I have no problem with players who are new to 5e, though some experience with ideally d&d or at least some ttrpg is preferred but not necessary. People coming to the table from varied backgrounds and viewpoints is absolutely a boon for any game.

I got it from the link you provided https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/113759/age-of-o... its the 3rd from the bottom under the title "age of oghir" Well sign me up as interested. Been playing since 3rd but have been sidelined as the "resident DM" for years. *edit* it says new players welcome now
Sounds good, count me interested as well.
Ah, it seems I just forgot to go into the options and manually set it to "New Players Are Welcome," my apologies. Fixed now! Thanks for pointing it out to me. An easy mistake to make, but mea culpa nonetheless. If you've gotten a chance to skim over some of the setting info and are still interested by all means please make an app post thread!
