Anyone know how to get it to work? It always freezes at subraces. Quite irritating since i cant just swap to how the old system was.

Subraces freezing is a known issue which has a hotfix already scheduled for release, you can track all the issues here . As for switching back to the old default view you can exit the charactermancer by clicking Cancel then Discard and Exit; it should disable the charactermancer unless you choose relaunch it from the settings of that sheet.
