Help with dynamic lighting and advanced fog of war needed!

Hello, I am just learning how to use roll20 and am having issues with the Dynamic Lighting feature and the Advanced Fog Of war. 1st off, The areas that have already been explored are blacked out and not just grayed out. If I turn dynamic lighting off, this is fixed, but then my players can see through walls and such. I have settings as seen in the pictures. how do I get these 2 to work together? Also, when I enable global illumination, everything is blacked out unless I put a number in the area for visibility. What am I doing wrong?

You might find this guide on taking screenshots on windows useful: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/13776/windows-use-snipping-tool-to-capture-screenshots Your setting looks right to me, but I never use Advanced Fog of War. You might try setting the token's View Distance under Advanced Fog of War. It's supposed to default to the dim radius I think, but for testing explicitly setting it might be helpful. Also, are you sure it's not working for your players? It's possible that the Ctrl-L view you have doesn't mimic their view for AFoW. You can also try resetting the fog of war in the toolbar and see if that allows it to work correctly.
wow.... I feel like an idiot now... hahaha. After checking the view from player, I can see that it is indeed working correctly now. Thank you!
