I keep reading about an add-on option in the game details page. I purchased LMoP and can't find it anywhere or have the capability to add it as an add-on to my game. HELP

That is because Lost Mines is a Module and not an Add-on.  You'll need to create a new game and use the options there to use the module.  Ifyou need more help, please let us know :)
