I have a weekly group which recently began a new game, but lost a player to real-world conflicts. I'm looking to round the number back to four. It runs Saturdays at 8pm Eastern (Currently EDT, but when Daylight Savings ends, we set our clocks back an hour to EST). The game is Numenera, a Science Fantasy RPG set very far in the future. Humanity is rebuilding civilization atop the leftover wonders of eight previous grand civilizations, and some of these wonders still work. It's "Fantasy" from Clarke's law, "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." People can reliably make their own crossbows and plows, but think spirits and magic are responsible for the wonders. A few - like the PCs - have learned there's more to it, and have learned to make use of these wonders. All levels of experience are welcome. What I'm more concerned about is getting people who want to help create a story, and who can play a character that will get along with the group and share the spotlight. The game is titled "Wish You Were Now." The three PCs have recently arrived in a new town and are learning about the world. They've just embarked on a job to find a missing sailor who may be an iteration of someone they grew up with. Or the PCs may be iterations of people the sailor grew up with. Or both. If that didn't make sense... it wasn't supposed to. It's a weird world. We play on Roll20, text only, and I use Discord for chats between games, reminders, or as an Out Of Character room during play. If you're interested, PM me. Thanks.
