Howdy. I'm Kirin, 20 years old. I haven't done a whole lot of D&D, only doing a few games in the past few years, but I spend a lot of my spare time writing, and I think that makes me a pretty good fit for a more RP-focused D&D game. As for my character, I would have to go with a Great Old One Warlock, taking the Pact of the Tome at 3rd level. I've prepared a little blurb on him, if you have the time to read it: Erebus was your typical studious young man. A bright future had lain ahead of him, and all who knew him would say that he might make a great scholar some day. Provided, of course, that he remain dedicated to his studies. Erebus, however, cared not for the tiresome rigors of academia. He sought shortcut after shortcut, a quick path towards the secrets he longed to know. The truths of the universe, the questions and answers that define creation. Eventually, he found his shortcut. His studies lead him to the dark, ancient deity known as Volgna-Gath, "Keeper of Secrets" and "Guardian of Knowledge." It was almost too good to be true. Erebus made the invocation of mud that would invoke Volgna-Gath, offering his blood to the great old one, in hopes of striking a pact with the deity. A humble servant for the dark god, in exchange for even the slimmest chance of knowing everything there is to know. Erebus is no longer your typical studious young man, but rather an agent of Volgna-Gath, gathering the secrets of men in a vain attempt to please his master. EDIT: I feel I should point out, I can quickly write up another character, and change details on this character should this turn out to not quite work with the lore. I'm also more than willing to make a character based on other party members, in an effort to round out the party better.
