Is there a way to roll or get a random number between two values? Say a number between 400 and 2400? Basically instead of rolling 4d6 x 100, I would like to find any value in between, not just the 100's values.

For your example, you could do 399 + 1d2001.

What kind of distribution do you want for the numbers? I my example gives a flat probability for every value, where your own makes it much likely that the value is in the middle and very little change of being close to the minimum or maximum possible value. AnyDice comparison
