[LFG][D&D 5E][Sunday-Monday] In Search of a New RP Family

Hi all! I just wanted to post this message to see if maybe I could find a new group. I have been playing for the past few months now in a long term campaign, and DMed a few times, unfortunately the group I'm with, and I, need to part ways. My job is changing my schedule so I won't be available at a time we can all meet anymore. It saddens me but time to move on. Anyways, a bit about myself: Name: John Age: 37 Experience: Been playing since May and DMed a couple of times. Game: D&D 5E Preference: I'd prefer to be a player and I'm comfortable with Fighters. I wouldn't mind trying a Rogue, Monk, or Cleric, however. What I Bring: I'm quiet, yes, but once I get used to a group I love to be a part of the action. I can be chatty in those cases, fun things that has happened in sessions, bringing up ideas to the DM, etc. I like to be apart of the group, but I will warn it can take a little for me to warm up to you. The curse of the introvert, I guess. Again, once there, I will be a loyal and fun member of the group. Looking For: I'll be honest, I'm in my 30s, I'm married, I have a life outside of this site, so what I'm looking for is a more like minded group. I prefer to game with people around my age (25 and up) but that's really it. I am LGBTQ friendly and happily game with pretty much everyone. I just want to game with some mature adults, is all. Oh and meeting others who will possibly get my ridiculous 80's references, is a definite plus. In the end, I'm just looking to make a nice, new RP family. Availability: Sundays - Mondays (Biweekly).   Recap: And that's really about it. I don't know if this will get anyone's attention or I'll just be few as ridiculous for asking for so much, but I figured I could at least give it a shot, no? I do really enjoy this hobby. I love taking part in the world's created. I'm a creative individual who sometimes does character art when I feel the muse. It's a sucky situation that I had to leave my group, but I don't want to let my crap schedule take this wonderful time away from me. Hey I've been lookin for a long term 5e group too! Been Dming my past three games and really ready to sink my teeth back into the action. I'm a sucker for stories built around characters and I am up to play any class, (however I do prefer something with nature roots and or any excuse to give my character a killer backstory). While I am 20 I am an old soul with an absolute 80's obsession! Hands down quarentee I'll be making more references. Time zone is PST and availed anytime past 6:30 on Mondays or whenever on a Sunday. LGTB friendly, open minded and superrrrr Canadian so, eh? If interested let me know!

Sure! I wouldn't mind opening up some dialogue and seeing what we can come up with. I'm good with a small group and I look forward to being a player. :)  Allie, you cool with that?

As this group was trying to remain small but seems to be garnering more interest, why don't you all (Icecalgamer, Allie P., Jace, and Silver) form the group. You all seem like you would mesh well together. I'll keep looking around myself. Have fun you guys. :)

I really don't have a timezone though i would prefer a sunday over a monday since I have an astronomy meeting every second monday of the month. but I am from the UK

I'm sure. My experience with groups of five or larger have, unfortunately, never been that good. Which was why I was looking for something smaller. But you all seem like you'll do well together. Have a good one.

Well I mean PST and work till 6:30 so starting around 7 on weekdays and anytime on weekends (weekends work best for me)
