"As a teammate, I need to know more about you" feels like it could occur to Alycia. Aria already talked to Alycia once with a variation on this theme. "As a tactician, I need to know your abilities" and "if something should happen to you, how do we fix it?" are specific versions of that question that make logical sense, and we'll see where it goes if those are asked.
Oh, I'm sure she could figure out an approach like that. Actually, post this adventure would probably be the right timing for that.

It'd be a long uphill climb to get Alycia to admit wanting to look cuter for Jason (or for any reason), but I like to think that if she did, and she went about doing it in her own unique style, that Jason would appreciate & acknowledge it. Maybe be one of the few people on the planet to do so, but that's why they're so good with each other. So that's where that comic came from. :)

I can't find a way to do it justice in the comic software, but I can imagine Summer doing Ahsoka or Twi'lek Jedi cosplay at a convention, spending hours on the prosthetics, and just doing a hard-light hologram lightsaber in 5 minutes. Then being sad that everyone was jazzed about the lightsaber.
As usual, canonicity, etc. etc. I feel like Comic Alycia is further along in a friendship with Summer than Real Alycia, or at least is more open about her feelings, but hopefully it's all entertaining anyway.

It's definitely non-canonical, and Summer would honor any kind of no-selfie request, and understand at least some reasons for it. Leo was instructed by Waters to avoid publishing information about himself or drawing attention, to avoid having his dad show up unexpectedly, and the Newmans all inherited that schooling.
