Ah the life of GMing for friends. While we love it and have created lovely games. We have not been in a game together for many years now and wish to remedy this. These are the two classes / characters we wish to bring into a game, one summons the other and it is assumed their overall power is weakened due to this to fit the setting, mainly a rp thing. {backstory may change due to world etc} We like homebrew based stuff and something more on the RP side as opposed to combat.  If anyone is looking for experienced players then we are you guys, just need a little more freedom in creation.  These are two applications that were used to try and join another game but a few changes make them wonderful advertisements.  -------------------------------------------------- Experience with Role-playing games:  10+ years of roleplaying experience with both player and GMing and have played almost every class and have played every race. Love homebrew stuff due to often unique and wonderful takes it involves. Me and my friend even have a channel involving D&D games on youtube.  Preferred Play Style (combat to role-playing ratio, any expectations/preferences you have):  I do love a higher roleplay to combat playstyle as I often finds combat can even happen through roleplay naturally anyway. I do love to drive things forward as well if needed but do like some GM push in the right direction at least. Character Name:  Alexia Von Durandal "The Faceless Witch" Class:  Sorcerer  Race:  Vampire {Elf base as really almost all apart form the biting can be fluffed from the sorcerers powers anyway. Would be willing to take weaknesses and the like for some cool role play possibilities.} or Elf Backstory:  Hailing from the clan Durandal the young woman long decided to leave her family in search of control over her ever growing magical power. Not to mention her disagreement of some practices her family partook in that she was less than happy about seeing... Soon to the local populace where she had taken up residence near to train by started calling her The Faceless Witch due to the the mask she always wore on her face. Though their relationship was a good one as she often aided those, even if she talked down to them, when needed in exchange for basic raw meat and the like. Many things happened from that point on, one such instance was during one night she discovered a small boy floating down the near by river, battered and bruised she took him in to treat him. Soon this turned into raising the orphan and teaching him, growing a strong bond and even going on some trips together. Of course he got the bad habit of being a little too prideful but overall it was a good happy life...  However then the shattering took place, ripping this place away form her and causing the boy she had raised into a man to go missing. She could not remember just how it all happened, her mind muddled and clouded but she knew she had done a very big mistake and it was her task to help set things right first. Using her collected magical power she summoned forth Hector Levin The Hound of Uruga of old to help her in this task, and while it weakened her she knew she could not do this alone, and now the two of them aim to discover what had happened and how to set things right. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Experience with Role-playing games:  Over 10 years as both player and GM have a tabletop channel on youtube with my friend. Preferred Play Style (combat to role-playing ratio, any expectations/preferences you have):  If all we do is RP and develop the world you wont hear me complaining. Though some combat now and then does make life a bit more interesting. Character Name:  Hector Levin ( The War Fang, The Hound of Uruga, Uruga’s Shadow )   Class:  Fighter or Wizard ( Bladesong ) Race:  Human Backstory:  Hector was born a simple peasant in the ancient kingdom of Uruga. Hector spend his early life as a farmer but was forced to pick up a weapon and become a soldier in order to survive during the endless wars and famine his kingdom was facing. Hector first distinguished himself on the battlefield during a retreat where he was assigned as a rear guard. The enemy had send war trained hounds to chance down the fleeing Uruga soldiers. Thanks to Hectors efforts the casualties were minimal and the enemy pursuers were annihilated, earning him the tittle of The Hound of Uruga. Life for a soldier is short and unforgiving, and thus Hector always strived to make them most of it. During the day he would fight like a madman on the battlefields and during the nights he would feast all night like it was his last. His efforts did not remain unnoticed and he quickly climbed through the ranks in the army, distinguishing himself with a second tittle given to Uruga’s finest warriors: The War Fang. His life would take a turn one day as he was given the honor of being a personal guard for the King’s only daughter. Assassins were sent to claim her life but Hector defended her valiantly, gaining her favor. The princess would confess her feelings for Hector who did not answer her, wishing to remain loyal to his duty and his king. The King’s daughter, unable to bare this rejection, claimed that Hector had forced himself on her. The king’s judgement was swift and cruel. Hector was dishonored and became nothing but a common criminal, thrown in to the deepest levels of the kingdoms dungeon where he was tortured and left for dead. As a final act of cruelty he was thrown in a massive pit deep in the dungeons that was used as a mass grave. There, Hector struggled to survive in total darkness amidst all manner of beasts and humans that would also end up in the pit. More then 5 years since Hector was first thrown in to the pit, he finally saw the light of day. But he was no longer the same man, because monsters are not born, they are created. Covered in blood and darkness, Hector stepped out of the pit to seek revenge. Little is known of his final moments, all that is certain is that the kingdom of Uruga was soon conquered by its many enemies.
