View Message does not work?

Hi. I have a question about messages in Roll20. I am referring to the envelope icon in the upper right of the website menu bar. See attached image: It seems whenever I click on a View Message button, the roll20 site does not take me to the message, but instead takes me to a list of My Games (<a href="https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/search" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/search</a>). Once clicked, the message then drops from the list. From what I can tell looking at the source in Chrome, it looks like the button should trigger an action to go to a /forum/permalink/&lt;some-guid&gt;, but it instead resolves to <a href="https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/search" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/search</a> This behavior occurs in Chrome and FireFox. I had trouble searching if this is a known issue already or if I have some browser setting that prevents proper functionality.

It's possible that the message might lead to a game thread or forum that has been removed or closed. If you can verify that you can navigate to the source of the message manually, but not through the button in Message Notification, I'll go ahead and escalate this.
The number of messages keep incrementing. But they all lead to the same result. I honestly can't find the game/thread that they originate from. So it may be the case that the threads no longer exist, except why to the number of messages keep incrementing?

Thanks Michael. I've alerted the devs. In the meantime, could you&nbsp; please carefully work through these steps of our guide to &nbsp; Solving Technical Issues ? I think&nbsp; &nbsp; Step 4 &nbsp;(getting the Console Log) is probably most important. You've done step 1. Step 1: Make sure to use the right browser Please check if these issues persist when using both Chrome&nbsp; and&nbsp; Firefox. Step 2: Ensure that there are no extensions/addons interfering with Roll20 Please disable&nbsp; all&nbsp; add-ons/extensions&nbsp; and&nbsp; anti-virus programs. Step 3: Clear your cache If none of the above succeeds, please thoroughly work through&nbsp; Step 4 .&nbsp; (Don't forget the complete Console Log!) Thank you!
Hi Michael, I was able to replicate this behavior on my end as well-- it is certainly odd. I have escalated this issue as it needs some more in-depth investigation but it may be until Monday as they are out on weekends. Step 4 in Keith's post would be very valuable here as it should hopefully pick up on the issue.

Greetings Michael, I have been looking into this issue. You do not need to provide a console log. The bulk of these messages are indeed coming from a campaign which you no longer are a member of. On the dev side we need to check for this so a user such as yourself are not getting such notifications. Would you mind doing a Dismiss All Notifications to clear out all the current ones? Then I can make some test posts in order to look for a more permanent fix. Thanks, Cassie
