QUESTION about PAID games

Hi there, I was reading the rules regarding paid vs free games and I was a bit confused when it comes to donations. Basically, I want to run a free game that anyone can join, but have the option for anonymous donations. It's important that the donations be anonymous because this is supposed to be a large shared campaign, much like a West Marches campaign, and I don't want anyone to worry they are at a disadvantage for not donating. The donations would help meet stretch goals that benefit everyone in the campaign, allowing me to take time away from work to work on additional content, run extra sessions per week, and make the campaign deeper and richer. So my question is, am I obligated to list the game game as pay-to-play if I'm only allowing anonymous donations? I'm worried a lot of players would miss out in that case, as it would eliminate my game from their LFG searches if they want to play for free. Thank you for your time and your help and I welcome any suggestions to make this as good an experience I can offer.
Hopefully a mod will answer this definitively for you but, I believe this would be considered tipping. Which is still considered paid under the rules outlined in the stickied post, so you'd need to list the game as Paid in the game finder and follow all the guidelines for paid games, such as the notice/disclaimer

Jesse R is correct. Any time money is mentioned in connection with a game, it falls under the Paid Game protocols as laid out in https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/2086083/read-first-posting-to-lfg-and-paid-games . You'd need to use the tipping disclaimer. This game encourages tipping the Game Master at a rate of < to be filled with a description of your method, amount, and frequency of payment >. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements. GMs may offer a specific Paid Game, but must follow these steps: A) Create a gametable on Roll20 B) Use the LFG tool to create a LFG Directory Listing , even if you do not enable that listing, ensuring you have marked this listing as a Pay to Play listing C) One may then post to the LFG Forum, directing people to one's listing , and include the disclaimer mentioned above, with your details filled in. Your disclaimer must include all three of method, amount, and frequency of payment.
