Variable Monster health with Aura/Healthcolors

So I think this worked sometime in the past but I cannot figure out how to do the following. I am using Aura/tint healthcolors, but would like each dragged copy of a mob to have a random hitpoint max based on the hitpoints formula.  Is this possible and which do I use npc_hpformula, npcd_hpformula or npc_hpbase? Do I need to do anything specific to get it to assign a max and current hitpoints set to max from a formula?  Can this work with volo's and other built in npc tokens? Thanks for any help you can give.

Is this for 5e? I know the 5e companion scripts can roll monster health on drop. They just roll the formula you put in the NPC sheet so it'd work with any monsters regardless of source. Once you get that done Healthcolors will just work with whatever total health you have on the token.
Hi there stumbled across this looking for info on Aura/tint - I too wanted random HP rolled per monster drop, and I found that an API called 'SetMonsterhitdice' or something did exactly this,&nbsp; <a href="https://gist.github.com/shdwjk/7377de58100f4e813432" rel="nofollow">https://gist.github.com/shdwjk/7377de58100f4e813432</a>

Sylerlokk. I think what you are remembering is an old API script for the tinting.&nbsp;
