[LFG 5e] Me and My Girlfriend are Looking for a Game, New players

So me and my Girlfriend have always been interested in D&D, though groups have never worked out for us due to scheduling conflicts and people dropping out in rl.  So now we are looking on the net for something.  We would like to try a one shot, for both of us to get use to the rules and the system here on roll20.  Just something quick and easy to see if we mesh with the DM as well.  If everything works out we would like to eventually try doing a campaign with more than just the two of us of PCs. We just have a couple things we would like to layout before we get started.  When we do a campaign we would like a mix of laid back people, who are also mature.  We also do not want any PC rape involved in the story what so ever.  Brutal descriptions of death and intense drama filled situations are more than welcomed as long as it doesn't involve PC rape. For play times we where thinking weekend afternoons and mornings, possibly into the early evening.  Would also prefer American time zones, West or East coast is fine.

Hi there, last year, after a 5 year hiatus I decided to get back into playing D&D, so I responded to a LFG post and picked up the mantle. One year later, we are still going strong. About Me: I began playing 28 years ago with 2E. I’ve played every version of D&D, as well as Pathfinder and other RPG’s. I’ve DMed in at least 4 long term campaigns (over a year). I believe in Narrative and Character Development above all else and draw on my years of watching and reading fantasy to help keep the immersion. I’m currently DMing 1 Campaign and playing in another. Specifics: 1.      Games will be biweekly, depending on scheduling conflicts, as life can get in the way. 2.      I am in the EST and my preference is definitely Weekend Evenings after 5:00pm. 3.      I use ROLL20 to play and DISCORD for Communication. 4.      I want players who want to roleplay and grow their characters. Have a character concept and loose backstory in mind. 5.      I have a Zero Tolerance for Non-consent and will not tolerate rude or disgusting behaviour. 6.      My table is inclusive and I welcome, if not encourage members of the LGBTQ2 community to reply.
