"Exploding dice"

Hi, im new to the site but already liking it alot, and hopefully it will get me and my gaming group back playing RPG again after a 20 or so year hiatus. But in the gaming system Im planing to use, which mostly uses d6, the exploding dice system functions: "roll a specific amout of d6 dice depending on the situation, and for each 6 rolled, you discard that dice, and instead roll an aditional 2d6".  (and this additional rolls also work under this "rule"). Iv been playing with the Dice roller function, but can't find a way to reproduce this, and also read the manual, but really can't get it togheter, but i might be missing something? thanks in advance /Pontuz

Hi Pontuz. Welcome to the site. You are wanting to read the Wiki but for your question this is what you want: Exploding Dice .
I'm not sure the normal exploding dice rules will work for OP's use-case. The rule Pontuz references mentions discarding the initial 6 and rerolling 2d6, which could result in a lower roll than the initial die roll. (For example: rolling a 6, which means roll two dice instead, and getting a 2 and 3 for a total of 5.) To me, this specific of a use-case would require an API script (and a Pro subscription) to accomplish.

You are right Kyle. I totally misread what they were wanting to do. An API script (pro feature) is the way to go with this.
Thanks for the feedback! Okey, doesn't seem like a lot of money to spend if it can get my friends (whom might have some trouble getting togheter irl) (and me) to get back into RPG again (and also support this fantastic site, which i just stumbled upon!!). Just need the get the hooks out :)  Thanks again.
