Going back to an old sheet to expand its functionality. I was wondering how crazy difficult it'd be to make a repeating-section of skills auto-populate a drop down, elsewhere in the sheet, where you can select one of the custom skills.

Really hard. You can't populate an actual select since sheet workers cannot change the DOM, so you have to fake it. I've done a proof of concept somewhere, but it's not simple at all.

Ah, and it can't be done inside another repeating section (no nesting repeating sections).

Eeek. Okay. I'm glad there's some code that I might be able to use though, super grateful for that! I did see that Jakob responded to the question of how to do it via repeating sections but not sure if I understood the answer.
