Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements. ----------------------------------------- This will be a weekly game of Curse of Strahd. Expect some dark thematic elements and grim overtones. Also expect to die frequently. Strahd is waiting... ----------------------------------------- Hi! My name is Kenny, and I'll be running a game of Curse of Strahd weekly for interested players. I have lots of experience playing DnD on tabletop and on roll20, with about 3 years of experience with fifth edition specifically. Curse of Strahd is one of my favorite modules, as it has a lot of depth contained in a relatively small play area, giving players a chance to really impact the world in which they're playing. I run my sessions consistently on time and they tend to run about 5 hours, give or take depending on player schedules and real life interference. Having played through CoS and DMed it a few times, I can say I'm comfortable giving a very personalized experience. No playthrough is the same. The world will react to your characters in ways that are not scripted in the book. I encourage heavy roleplay as well as tactics, and I reward getting into character. I am a firm believer in "difficult but fair" when it comes to roleplaying games, because that makes winning even sweeter. This highly adaptive experience is why I'm also asking $10 a session. I could go on about paid play being more reliable, and the players being more committed to the game, and more prep work going into things, and all that is still true. But the money spent on this game will help me get more resources to use for later in this game itself. Consider it an investment. Payment will be collected per session via paypal. As always, I am more than willing to work with people on the payments - this is something I do for the love of the game, and my goal is for everyone to have fun more than it is to make money. I've also asked a few of my previous Curse of Strahd players to post reviews in the listing, both to help you decide if it's worth it to join this game, and to inflate my own ego juuuuust a bit more. I look forward to DMing for you all!
Down to possibly the last session on this campaign , its been 6 months or so, the most fun i've had in literal years , Kenny is a great firm but fair DM that isn't afraid to let us go off the rails. Already working on a character for our next campaign, ( pretty sure everyone is). GG
I would be interested in joining your campaign. What is the start time? I am cst and would need to be done by 7pm my time. Also what game content for races/classes do you allow in your games?
Start time is listed at 2:30 EST (1:30 CST) but is negotiable if the players would all prefer a different time slot. I can certainly be finished by 8 pm my time. As far as game content and character classes, I allow anything in a published WotC book and some variants of UA. For Curse of Strahd particularly, I won't be allowing Gunslinger or Artificer simply due to the difficulty in obtaining materials in Barovia, though I have no problem with those classes in other settings. If you really want to play a specific type of class or character build, I'll work with you as best I can. Typically the only reason I say "no" is when something would unbalance the campaign or be unfair to the rest of the players. If you're interested, head to the link and fill out the application, and I'll shoot you an invite!
Quick post to mention we have one slot left open, and the game starts Sunday!
