Proposal: The text editor should store text in markdown and provide a preview panel to see what it looks like. The buttons at the top that set up tables, underlining, bold, urls, and other shortcuts would set the markdown text. The Github editor is an excellent example of this type of control, and anyone involved with character sheet development on Github is familiar with it. Reasoning: The text editor applies interesting formatting at times, and getting it to do what you want is especially difficult around the quote formatting and tables. Text editor update. Please fix my tables. https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/6526321/text-editor-update-bug-report-thread Formatting changes based on whether the text is new or being updated. Breaking out of a quote sometimes does not work. URLs get escaped and are unusable when sent to the chat window with a backtick. ^ As an example, the paragraph above has gone double-spaced, and there is no way to fix that short of deleting the paragraph and starting over.
