Campaign Setup YOU are no firefighter. Firefighters deal with helping cats out of trees and putting out small blazes. You, and the members of your elite unit the Inferno Tactical Squad , deal with the real technical disasters. With the advancement of technology comes new challenges. Magic has pervaded the city and has brought with it wondrous prosperity to the city and its people. This prosperity, however, has come at a cost, for when the magic that is contained within a charged item is suddenly and violently released, most often in the case of a fire, the results can be deadly. While the rich get richer, continuing to sell these products without regulation to the populace, a generation has grown dependent on the comforts of their magic. 14 years ago, to placate the general populace and prevent an outcry, the government has hired a special force, named the “Infernal Tactical Squad” to deal with the containment of emergencies throughout the city and the protection of its citizens when disaster strikes. This story is a drama surrounding you and your squad as you desperately act to save the lives of those around you while engaging in the corrupt political landscape and complex hierarchy of Reijima’s elite. You will struggle as you are placed between the people you are sworn to protect and the ones you love, while standing up for those who cannot defend themselves. What We're Looking For This is a campaign with both heavy roleplaying and tactics focus. It is not recommended for the tabletop wargamer/munchkin. We have 4 players and are looking for a 5th. Some of the current character concepts include: A battle-hardened ex bounty hunter who is taking it easy for a bit and earning quick cash running into fire and fighting monsters - melee ranger. A smooth-talking dragonborn public relations specialist who smooths over incidents - valor bard. A druid displaced from her grove by city expansion who wants to change the corrupt system from the inside - land druid. A detail-oriented forensics scientist - artificer.
