In 2017, Seventeen years after a global cataclysm known as the Second Impact, a group of children are summoned to Washington-2, the commander of the paramilitary organization NERV informs them that the NERV HQ in Tokyo-3 has fallen and now the Angel has turned towards Washington-2. Eva-01, the first and only active Eva unit, is gone. This group of adolescent children are to pilot the Evas and possibly save the world. This is a major alternate timeline so things will be familiar and different. The TV show and movies never happened and events are going to play out differently. We have started on the second act of the story titled We are (not) Defeated. The team has managed to defeat the Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Angels. However the battle against the Sixth Angel has left large sections of Washington-2 in ruins. While NERV cleans up the mess and attempts to pin down the location of the Spear of Longinus after it was used against the Sixth Angel; the pilots get used to their newest roommate the seemingly perfect Alice and deal with the truth about the being in Terminal Dogma. But questions remain, where is the missing Second Child, when will the Angels strike next, and what will the class do for the school festival?
