[LFG][5E] Brand new player. Looking for a group to play with and learn.

Hello! I am brand new to Dungeons and Dragons. My name is Kevin, and I would like to get involved in my first campaign. I have the players handbook that I have been reading through, and the rules.I am available mostly in the evenings (EST) and Fridays would be absolutely the best but for the next couple weeks I will be home on vacation so every night until then. I have been watching a campaign being played out and I am enthralled by it. If anyone would be able to help me out and get me started on this journey I would be grateful.
I am also new to all of this so i would like to join you as well on any campaign you might do
Kevin, and Ernesto, what kind of campaign are you looking for? High fantasy? standard D&D  Lots of action, and combat or more narrative? or just anything? What kind of  Characters are you both interested in playing? I am a DM, I do not charge a fee for sessions.
I am starting a campaign next Wednesday. I have never played before so I don't know much outside of the PHB. I like RP and story, I can visualize well. As far as types of characters... I don't really have a preference. I would like to eventually dabble in all things, because of course variety is the spice of life.
starting a campaign as a DM or player?
as a player
Okay, good luck to you, Kevin P.
see my post for Dragon of Icespire peak.  Noobs welcome!
I am still looking for a game to play Friday or Saturday evenings after 7 PM EST. I have dabbled in a bit of the game at this point. I am enjoying myself so far. I am very flexible on what I would play since I want to experience a wide array of classes. Hit me up.
