Not Allowing Negative Stats

So my 5e character has a -8 to wisdom but for some reason whenever I click out of the section it turns it to a blue zero with an asterisk next to it. Because of this my skills are not reflecting the negative properly. I have not found any settings in the character sheet that has a sort of like "do not allow stats below 0" part so I am not sure what is going on.

If it is the OGL, a blue ability score usually indicates it is being modified. Do you have a magic item that is affecting the score, perhaps> 

I do not have any magic items yet. We are all low level and just starting so nothing really going on.

How is the -8 to Wisdom being set? Is it a modifier on the settings page? Did you manually set it to 8 less than normal? (What is normal?) Or is it actually set to a value of negative 8. Also please confirm the character sheet. Is this the D&D 5e by Roll20 sheet (also called the OGL sheet), or a different one?
