This is a recruitment for more players for a game I started about half a year ago. Two of our players have had to bow out due to other commitments. However this leaves our party a little undermanned and we're looking for 1 more player. POSSIBLY 2 depending on how things go. Setting The group is currently embroiled in a rather complicated war with many different parties involved, primarily the three human kingdoms of the land. <a href="https://i.redd.it/am17w66fhtw11.png" rel="nofollow">https://i.redd.it/am17w66fhtw11.png</a> The Broken Continent consists of three kingdoms; Aslos, Kizumo and The Storm Kingdom. Our party began as part of the Royal court of Aslos but ended up banished after a power struggle between the 3 princesses. They and Princess Ana (whom they had supported and was also banished with them) allied themselves with the Storm Kingdom and embroiled themselves in a 3-way war between the three nations. Their most recent plan involved assassinating the newly crowned Queen Kai of Aslos to replace her with Princess Ana, but they were foiled. Their followup plan is to rendezvous with the Princess and her guard. You will be part of this group of reinforcements. This is mostly an outline of the world the party started in, it has changed to a certain extent by now. Specifics The setting is very political and has a relatively serious tone. Get ready for a lot of strategizing, tactical thinking and deciding war plans. I have no problem with characters that don't take themselves too seriously but I will be trying to make this world as real as possible so actions will have consequences. There are jokes to be had and fun interactions, but no complete inanity. As a serious world, there are things such as sex, slavery, torture and other distasteful things. You must be okay with a certain level of this and gore, but we will avoid overt focus on these topics. If you have other boundaries, please let me know. You can expect to have battlemaps, music and an open ear for criticism. I am willing to negotiate a certain amount of UA and homebrew, but would like to mostly stick to official material. The world is relatively low magic with most of the magically proficient individuals being allied with the royals of one of the three kingdoms. There are not many high-level spellcasters. In such a political setting, I have some tolerance for PvP and conflicting interests. But if you go against the party, don't expect your character to be long for our campaign and be ready to make a new character. Sessions are on Saturday Weekly 7pm EST and go for between 3-4 hours. Minimum age is 18 years old and you will require a microphone. I have a couple of rules that are a priority. Key Rules 1. Communication. If there is any criticism or suggestion, big or small, there must be an open line of communication between everyone, but most importantly between you and me. Talk to me if there is anything you are uncomfortable with, dislike or if you're just not having very much fun and we'll figure it out. Similarly, be ready to listen to criticism and we can work to make sure everyone's having fun. Compromise is essential. If you are not ready to do so, you are not ready to play in my campaign. 2. Commitment. Please be ready to keep this game pretty high on the priority list. I put a fair amount of time into the game and I expect that you as a player will do your best to attend every week. If there's an emergency or you have overlapping commitments you tell me about ahead of time, no problem. Real life happens and I have 0 issue with that. If you are applying, please put the words "Hector The Well-Endowed" at the end of your PM so I know you read all of this. If one day you just feel awful and don't want to play for whatever reason, that's okay, it happens to us all and I don't want you to play if you don't want to play. But more than a couple times can be a problem. If it starts happening, we'll talk, but right now, if you want to play in the game, please be ready for a commitment. Furthermore, please be prepared to invest your attention to the game during the session. I understand it's easy to get distracted in a mere Roll20 game, but I ask that you make it a priority and don't zone out.
