Looking for someone to help teach the ropes

hello Roll20 community, Looking for someone who is willing to teach and explain Roll20. I'm totally new to all this. I've only played an rpg once but I really enjoyed it and I want to learn as much as I can.  Thank you all!

Are you looking to play a game or create one as DM?

I'm looking to play and eventually in the future be able to DM. I would really enjoy learning  the ins and outs of rpgs.

well i have dumb homebrew world and pretty new at DM so if we can get game today and you can play on thusedays [if we work out time zone stuff ] we could start newbi game  i would run a 5e game since it my fav system

I've never played on roll20 and I only have a few 5e sessions under my belt. Never been able to keep a group long enough to finish a campaign :/ I have 1 more person that's on the same level as me and he would love to join too if we had room.  I'm a stay at home dad in central time zone. I'm fairly flexible on days but if we can make it evening sessions that would work best.
