While visiting your favorite pub you notice a new sign on the bulletin board with the title "Applicants Wanted." (for those of you who are illiterate you notice other people looking at the board that seem interested and you inquire that they read the note to you.) Under the title it reads: "Adventurers needed. Those of you seeking fame, fortune, and adventure please come to the New Grisham Town Hall between the hours of 5 pm and 8 pm on the eve of Saturn's day and be sure to have your resume on hand with all of your qualifications. We will conduct open interviews immediately and determine who we feel will best suit the needs of our team. Those of you who "make the cut" shall hear from the company and be given your final instruction within a few days. Thank you for your interest and the best of luck to all applicants. Lithman and Company is an equal opportunity employer." As the time for the interview approaches you gather up what information you might think would improve your chances of being picked for the adventure. As you walk into the Town Hall it appears quite busy. You see 4 lines formed. At the ends of these lines are 4 human females (very attractive if you are into that sort of thing) who are very well dressed sitting at small tables. As you approach the head of your line you wait until you are instructed to have a seat. As you sit down you are greeted: "Hail friend. Do you understand the common tongue? If not, a translator is available to ensure you understand completely what we will be discussing. (They continue with/without the assistance of a translator) We represent Lithman and Company and we are seeking able bodied adventurers like yourself to aid in the discovery of items that Ms. Lithman finds very intriguing. The tasks at hand may prove to be quite dangerous and could result in great bodily harm or even death. We would like to get some basic information from you to ensure that the risks of success without injury are optimal. Not only do we care about the things you will be sent to get, but Ms. Lithman also cares about your well being. You will receive compensation for your efforts as well as recognition for completion of tasks." You are then asked to provide your resume for review. Name: Occupation: Age: Experience: Any special sets of skills you may have: *ooc how familiar are you with D&D 3.5? (i have played 3.5 off and on for years and have DM'd a few games but am no guru. due to this breaks may be needed to look up information if we come across an issue needing resolved) what is your availability? (my schedule only allows mostly tuesday/wednesday nights around 7pm central time until whenever.. possibly some on friday nights around 8:30pm for a few hours at most. there may be some opportunity to earn extra credit (xp) and/or items between sessions through pop-up quests/encounters in the forum section. im not sure at the current time how often we will play but i expect at least every other week as long as everything works out. just because you miss a session does not mean you will not be able to keep up with others in the group..i know life has a way of messing up plans.) how fragile/easily offended are you? (due to some graphic content and imaging games may be rated R) how familiar are you with discord? (that will be our most used mode of communication. if you are scared to talk over the mic you can type until you become more comfortable.) what questions do you have for me? (i know theres probably some things ive overlooked and we'll cross that bridge when we get there)
