Heyo, my name is Res, I’ve been DMing for about 3 years now. This game right here, my main current one has been going on for about a year now and I was planning it for about that long beforehand. It is a higher magic game, openworld and is very centred on the party at this moment. In a couple of sessions, one of our original party members will be leaving for family reasons. We currently have 5 party members, but the party member who is leaving is one of the stronger RPer’s of the group, we are in need of another strong RPer to fill the gap. If you feel as though you might fit that roll send me a message on discord at #Ressykins9122 Light World Overview ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The countries of this world have been at odds with each other for a very long time, specifically the two largest countries. Sorvan and Lorental have been waging a bloody civil war for fourteen years, ever since the Sorvan declared their independence from Lorental. In addition to this war, the God of Chaos decided to give some of his power to a mortal and name them his champion. Several other Gods followed him, naming their own champions, much to the displeasure of other groups of the Gods. Twelve years ago, a small group decided to work together and kill the God of Chaos. After his death, the redistribution of his energy caused a massive rift in the continent, splitting it in half. To this day it is known simply as “The Disaster.” After the split dragonborn made themselves known to the world, spilling from the divide. One dragonborn rose above the rest to become the leading general of Sorvan and lead the fight against the Lorental. They fought until Lorental was pushed back and Sorvan could truly become independent. The dragonborn general quickly disappeared. Sorvan, still in infancy, hosts many problems. Slavery runs through the black market and corruption already runs deep. Previously wealthy port cities are drying up due to the sudden appearance of Leviathan, making it harder and harder by the day to travel and fish. As if this wasn’t enough, rumors are beginning to circulate of a small group terrorizing the countryside, leveling villages and towns in what can only be described as massacres. Additional Info ~~~~~~~~~~ The game time is at Sundays at 8:30PM EST This is a long term game, the players have been going for about a year and they’re level 9 right now and I expect it to go to level 20, so if you have anything you think may interfere with the time in the future it is advised to not apply. I am BIG on character backstories. I would greatly prefer it if you made a larger backstory. (I’d also prefer it if you followed The Knife Theory ( <a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/DnD/comments/775caq/my_friends_and_i_have_something_called_knife/" rel="nofollow">https://www.reddit.com/r/DnD/comments/775caq/my_friends_and_i_have_something_called_knife/</a> ) when making it just to ensure that I have something to work with when planning for future endeavors with backstories) I accept Homebrew things as long as you’re able to convince me that something isn’t broken, or if it is I’d be willing to work with you to make it less so. I have a little interview thing because I do need to talk to people due to a couple of past… experiences. The game you’d be joining in on would be the 1st of September.
