[LFG] New to roleplay and Roll20

Hello to whomever is reading this,  My name is Jon and I've recently begun binge watching people play on Roll20 and am really excited to dip my toes in the water and get some experience role playing. Stumbled across Roll20 a couple years ago but had no clue what I was doing. I come from a PC gamer background and have played lots of various rpg's. I've recently played through Baldur's Gate series and Neverwinter series and it got me really interested in the Forgotten Realm which lead me to YouTube videos of people playing on Roll20. Growing up I never knew anyone who played D&D so this is a whole new world for me. I'm super open to learning whatever I can and word as a delivery drivers so very flexible schedule. I can pretty much make anything work and am happy to commit to a set time every week. I'm EST timezone and definitely open to whatever opportunities are out there. I'm somewhat familiar with D&D 3.5 and 5e and I've played some Pathfinder Kingmaker on PC which I'm sure is nothing like PnP but would be interested in learning that system as well.  Thanks for reading this and I look forward to some role-playing!

Salutations! I'm running a homebrew Storm King's Thunder campaign heavily inspired by ancient India and ancient Central Asia. We play weekly on Friday evenings at 6:30 PM PST (9:30 PM EST). Presently, we have 7 players; I'm looking to add 1 player in September. Please note we do use video and voice, so a functioning webcam is required. Discord is used for voice and roll20 for video. We use milestone levelling to avoid level (and ability) discrepancies. The application period is open until Saturday, August 31st. The setting is high magic, with magic items abundant and enemy spellcasters not uncommon. Familiarity with Asian history is not a prerequisite. While historical authenticity will be preserved in respect to appearance and language and culture, this is still a fantasy TTRPG. The fundamental trappings remain, and the prevalence of magic introduces degrees of modernity.
