Hello. My name is Andy and, as stated in the topic, I'm a relatively new D&D player that's looking for a group to play with. I'm highly invested into role playing and love experiencing the crazes that come when exploring the different worlds of Dungeons & Dragons. There's no particular class I prefer to play as I can see myself playing any of them (except the Monk because I've been told it sucks.) I don't have much experience playing the game, but I do know how to create my character and the basic fundamentals to play the game (social encounter rolling, combat, etc). I'm looking for a group that is ideally equally as invested in role-playing and immersion, though my energy is a reflection of my groups: if my group decides to goof, I, too, with goof. I live in CDT but will be moving to a GMT-4 timezone the 10th. I am usually available in the later evenings of the day and will be available to play long sessions. I speak primarily English.  My most fondest D&D moments? I played a level 5 Berserker. I then failed to get on top of a kitchen counter. I also failed to pry a loose pipe off near the ceiling that a gnome wizard was able to. I proceeded to fall down some stairs. And, finally, I rolled a natural 20 and utterly laid waste to a door. I was a DM running a campaign for a relatively new band of PC's. Two of my PCs were surprised by a tiger. One PC rolled a natural 1, stabbing herself in the leg and immediately gets knocked unconscious. Then the other PC rolls a natural 1 and shoots himself in the leg with a crossbow. The tiger didn't have to do much. Earlier in the same campaign, my party of level 2 characters diffuses a potentially lethal encounter with a ghost ship full of skeletons by rolling a natural 20 when waving at them. These were just a couple of my favorite moments when playing D&D and I am looking forward to potentially finding another group to play with. I am open to play homebrewed games, other editions of D&D, other systems or modules. Anything goes~  Thank you for reading. Have a good day.
