Hi all, I'm looking for 1-2 PCs to join our 5e Neopets game. We welcome all new players and we're willing to teach them the mechanics of 5e. The only real change is that we're flavoring the core races as neopets. This one shot is a means to test the water and see if we can get a good group for a full campaign. This is an easy-going, casual adventure for anyone looking for a new theme to explore. Newbies and experienced players are welcome! Knowledge of the Neopets setting is not required. What are neopets? They are the friendly animal-like inhabitants of Neopia! They come in all shapes and sizes. In this game you'll be playing as a neopet taking a quest from the Explorer's Guild. Adventure and fame awaits as you travel the land of Neopia! Game Info 1) We will play using Discord for voice and Roll20 for sheets, maps, and macros. 2) The one-shot will be held on the 15th Tuesday 12:30 pm PDT 3) Session 0 is on 14th Monday 12:30pm PDT Character Creation: Character starts at Level 4, with 27 point buy Only Core Races allowed. Your characters will be a Neopet, but will have the racial abilities of a core race. No strange colors, please. Depending on your neopet, you can take either a 10ft Fly Speed, 10ft Swim Speed, 10ft Climb Speed, 10ft Burrow Speed or a free Toughness or Charger feat. All Classes allowed. UA content needs to be approved first. 200gp starting wealth plus default equipment from class & background Roll your hit die for level 2 to 4. If you roll lower than average, you may take average instead. No Evil characters.
