[LFP]]OD&D] Points of Light - OD&D Adventure using Delving Deeper retro-clone rules

Sorry, All seats are currently taken, but thank you for your interest! Hear ye, OSR grognards, new players intimidated by vast tomes of heavy rules, experienced players who wish to release the burden of complexity, and those who simply wish to roll less and role more ... Come join me in the Wildlands, where pockets of civilization struggle to exist between vast swaths of dangerous wild wild terrain. Where the remnants of the not long fallen Bright Kingdom still echoes through the lands. This game harkens back to the time when balanced encounters weren't even a thought, skills were a a player's capabilities, not numbers on a character sheet, and knowing when to negotiate...or run... was far more advantageous than fighting and dying. This was a time when luring a creature away from its vast treasure horde was sometimes ideal to killing it for it and risking the expenditure of precious resources in the process. After all, monsters were of little XP value, but gold was the precious that gave you the precious experience to advance. So if you're looking to relive the glory days, or to experience the very foundations of the greatest game ever created in the modern era, then come brave adventurers and seek your glory between the Points of Light that sparsely dot the Wildlands! Looking For: 5-6 Players Time: Mondays 12pm-4pm CST Weekly(ish) Additional Information: Mature players only please. Not to be construed with containing adult material (though profanity and short adult references may come up from time to time), but as I'm planning to record sessions with the purpose of the game being a podcast series - you have been warned - It needs to hold certain standards. Voice chat will be done via Discord. Video on Roll20 is optional The Rules are available as a free PDF from the publisher, Immersive Ink, at http://forum.immersiveink.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=113 under the DD Ref Rules V4 > Softcopy section. (Volume 1 is the only one you need as a player (though you can certainly choose to download all three if you want). The other 2 are DM reference material.
Hi there! This looks like a game I might enjoy. I'm new to Roll20, and also don't have a Discord yet (but I don't mind making one if this game actually gets off the ground). We might have to do a sound test before the first recorded session to make sure it all sounds good enough for your podcast. Having leafed through the rules, they don't seem too different from other OD&D clones I've played before. Could I just confirm with you that your sessions would be from 5pm to 9pm for me in Ireland (GMT)?

Hi, thanks for responding! I'm not sure what the actual time frame would be in your zone, but unfortunately I don't have any open seats currently. My apologies I should have updated the posting.
