Hi there! My name is Matt, I'm 21, and I've fallen into a bit of a rut when it comes to Tabletop Gaming. I've had a few regular games but they have mostly come to a close or have been put on hiatus due to life. So I've gotten back into the cycle of looking for games on Roll20, and as such been findng myself struggling to find a group that is right for me. It's the Goldilocks Conundrum. As a player I find making a character that feels more like a person than numbers on a sheet to be important, and because of that I look for games that aren't just combat slogs or dungeon delves as I personally find myself a bit bored of that style of game. The issues is, I do not really want to play 5th Edition D&D as I have grown rather tired of its lack of options and choice, leaving me with games that typically have smaller communities on Roll20. So I wanted to put this out there and see if anyone was running any of these games that favor RP and character building over just number crunching and murderhoboing. ~ The Witcher ~ Vampire the Masquerade 20th Anniversary ~ Pathfinder ~ A Song of Ice and Fire RPG If anyone is running any of these games and has an open slot I'd love to join. I've though about putting on my GMing hat, but I promised to myself last month that I was going to take a few months off from running games and kind of focus on myself and just have fun rather than worrying around running my own games at the moment. That may change, so we'll see!
