GM looking for players.

I'm looking for people interested in playing Savage Worlds. If you've never played it don't worry it's a super easy system to pick up. Also its a setting free system so it can run games in all different types of genres and styles.

What times were you thinking of running it?

And what sort of setting are you planning?

I tend to run games on Tuesdays starting at 7 pm eastern. As for setting I'm currently torn between standard fantasy or pulp adventure, but either way for the first few session until we find a group that flow well together it will mostly be one and two shot adventures changing the setting each time so people can get a feel for the versatility of the system.

i could be interested but i need more info on the game itself, and I play anything that carries a bow of any sorts, except those shitty crossbows lol :P

I've been wanting to try Savage Worlds for a while and Tuesday 7pm Eastern works currently. However I'd be both new to Savage worlds and the Roll20 App.

Learning like i said is super easy and fast to pick up. You want to buy the core book is probably the cheapest out there at only 10 buck for a paperback our on drive through rpg.obvious if you can't afford that there are other options that ican't suggest since it can mean the thread being taken down. Lol

Wow so last night at game time I got a rush of messages. Thank you everyone that responded. I'm sorry I couldn't get back to all of you, but with the messages all happening at game time I couldn't find the time to respond to everyone last night. We will still be doing new settings each week with pre-made characters. First come first served as far as characters go if we run into the issues of more players than characters, but everyone will be invited to watch and hang out.

Foe anyone interested this weeks game puts our players in a small town during an alien invasion. As usual everyone is invited.

Anyone joining the game tonight, since we are having issues with Roll20's voice clients we will be using skype, the info is in the game's forum.

I know next to nothing about savage worlds but it does sound fun. I have what I need to read up on it I just need to know the details and such. and if you still inviting folks I would like to join in.

Have you looked at or played the Savage Worlds settings Space 1889: Red Sands or Day After Ragnarok? Both have the potential for great pulp adventure games, and area some of my favorite settings. Depending on the setting choice I may be interested, though I am busy Today and next Tuesday. Is your end goal to get a longer running campaign going?

I don't tend to do pre-made settings though I tend to make my own and use the pre-mades for inspiration.
